A number of changes have been introduced since the last review, including improvements to processes, new marketing approaches and of course the addition of the Bromsgrove site. The effective processes that have been put in place have ensured that the disruption caused by changes to the staff and procedures have been kept to a minimum.

The effectiveness of training and development which is regarded as high importance is reviewed annually and presented to the partners during their annual review of the practices.

As a result of the growth over the past 12 months, the business has proactively conducted some succession planning. A result of which is the introduction of the role of key players, which is designed to strengthen the line management structure and allow the business manager to free up more time to focus on “the bigger picture”.

Communication methods to link the three practices are reviewed regularly. Recent improvements include meetings set up to allow representative from each site to get together to discuss issues and developments. Also the introduction of the intranet and using key players to cascade information to team members, where speaking to all members of the staff at one time is not a viable option.
